jackson object mapper configs for consuming cloud events

As per the process-kafka-quickstart-quarkus, it appears that a couple of jackson related configs are needed to consume cloud events with byte[] payloads. Without these configs, this exception is thrown by jackson when org.kie.kogito.event.impl.CloudEventConsumer receives a cloud event.

Would it be possible that the ObjectMapper used by CloudEventConsumer already come enabled with these jackson configs ?
