When creating a new file in VSCode with the following commands, the editor doesn't open imediatelly. Right click on the folder, new file, name.bpmn. VScode will open a text editor. If you close and reopen the asset, the bpmn editor opens normally. Same behavior for DMN.

The issue applies to VSCode on Mac.
