Today, with CeKit 3.11 the KIE Server Image have reached the maximum number of layers allowed to have in a container build. Other images like Business Central are not too far to reach this limit as well.
We need to find a better way to build the RHPAM and RHDM images to fix this problem and avoid future problems while building large images.
The best option to fit this scenario would segregate our build in two or more steps using base image. The steps would be:
- Base image with JBoss eap and base rhpam binaries.
- Second step, modules and image configuration scripts.
This re-architeture will not touch the following images since these does not use EAP:
- smartrouter
- pim
- blocks
