The operator repository still contains auth-json-secret handling that was removed along with the https://github.com/confidential-containers/cloud-api-adaptor/pull/2232 in caa.
Additionally it's no more needed for pause image downloading thanks to https://github.com/kata-containers/kata-containers/pull/10514 
The related code can be removed.
