In terms of midstream, all our components (images) are defined at the cpaas-midstream/osc-operator repository. We need to push a new branch to this repository. Example: osc-1.6-rhel-9

Notes:

1. upstream_sources.yaml file should have references to the target branches and repositories we would like to build from. In theory we could keep the same references as the ones used by the previous release. However it is strongly recommended that we define those branches at this point, so we can capture eventual issues as early as possible.
2. We need to update the cluster services versions (CSV) manifest files from the operator bundler to match the version 1.NEXT.0. Again, while this can be updated later, ideally we should update those during the push. Here are the files we need to update.
