      In the JWS 3.1 installation guide, it is said JWS 3.1 is only supported running on Windows Server 2012. It is conflicting with the JWS 3 Supported Configuration page which is saying as long as the Tomcat in JWS 3 is running on the supported JDK, then it will be supported.

      As per documentation :

      https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_jboss_web_server/3.1/html/installation_guide/installing_jboss_web_server_on_microsoft_windows
      ~~~~~~~~~~
      IMPORTANT :
      JBoss Web Server 3.1 support for Microsoft Windows is limited to the Oracle JDK (versions 1.7 and 1.8) on Windows Server 2012.
      ~~~~~~~~~~

      With the 3.1 release, we make a distinction between the platforms that the Tomcat java bits are supported on, and the native bits including Apace HTTP are supported on.

      Tomcat is supported on a defined set of Vendor JVMs and versions.
      Apache HTTP and other native components are supported on a specified set of OSs and Architectures.
