Section 2.4.3 of the Installation Guide is incomplete. In order for the selinux policy to run tomcat successfully, users running on rhel-6 must also add 8005 to the http_port_t or it won't be able to bind and tomcat will fail to start.

To add port 8005 to http_port_t, execute the following:

/usr/sbin/semanage port -a -t http_port_t -p tcp 8005

Also, in the description of the section, there's a typo:

"If required, you can run the postinstall.selinux script."

is missing the '.' before the script name and should be:

"If required, you can run the .postinstall.selinux script."
