There is difference in following files between what is delivered from .rpm packages and from .zip. Also there are some extra files in zip apart from what is in .rpm packages in directories in which are different 'index.html' files:

/usr/share/tomcat8/webapps/docs/appdev/sample/index.html

Text in files from .rpm says that files have been removed due to (CVE|https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2007-1355). But when I see particular files downloaded from zip, I can se regular content with some other files in current directory.

Compared files were from:
jws-examples-3.0.2-CR2.zip package and tomcat7-webapps-7.0.59-42_patch_01.ep7.el6.noarch rpm package.

NOTE: in zip package jws-application-servers-3.0.2-CR2-RHEL6-x86_64.zip there are also upper mentioned files but matches exactly same content as what is delivered by .rpm package. Therefore it looks like there should be made some update in what is added into jws-examples-3.0.2-CR2.zip package.
