A GUI wizard which asks the user some questions and spits out an optimal configuration. The user for example picks the transport (TCP, UDP). If TCP, we ask for TCPPING (static list), TCPGOSSIP (external router) or MPING (multicasting available).
Some of the properties of the network should be sensed, e.g. whether IP multicasting is available.
The system should have rules to determine for example that fragmentation is not needed when TCP is used and so on.
