Replicated reads performance dropped with the async interceptor stack

    Description

      By their nature, the async interceptor stack is a little more complex than the old one, in particular we need to allocate one extra ReturnValueStage instance per replicated read. However, I also missed some things when backporting ISPN-5467, and re-adding them should bring us closer.
