Generate a warning/error in case of definining protobuf schema without annotations

Defining a protobuf schema without annotations does not produce any UI warning/error for the user.
Afterwards, some operations will start to fail without any visual feedback (for instance, re-indexing a cache after adding new fields to the schema)
