Currently the defaults are:

cpu: 0.5
memory: 512Mb
0.5 CPU results in very slow server start times and should be increased to 1.0.

Memory capacity of 512Mb only leaves a small amount of capacity for cached data due to the overhead of the jvm and server runtime. We should increase this to 1Gi.
