Hi ,
There is a Customer scenario where application is not using DG CDI extensions.
As of now, application using the DG module is forced to adapt to it when migrating from DG 7.3.
There are cdi-exception and jcache-exception in server.log if the DG CDI dependencies are not removed from the DG module.xml. The DG CDI extension is loaded, but app is not using it.
Since JCache is loaded and depends on CDI, removing jcache dependencies solves the migration issue.
Removing the following from module.xml make DG up and running without any issues. It is safe to remove if the application is not using DG CDI extensions ? Will there be EAP internal dependencies or requirements there.
Can DG CDI resources considered as a seperate module or optional in EAP modules.
