I have not been able to get pre-signed URLs to work with S3_PING. I have tried using the `S3_PING.generatePreSignedUrl()` method to generate the URLs, and the Amazon Java SDK. Both produce 403 (Unauthorized) errors when trying to use them with S3_PING. I have posted to the AWS forums to see if anyone answers. I am writing this as a JDG bug, because the documentation may need to be updated to remove this feature, if I can't get it to work.
