QSTools 1.6.0.CR1 fails with missing schema

n the jboss-eap-quickstarts and I get this error:

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.jboss.maven.plugins:qstools:1.6.0.CR1:check (default-cli) on project jboss-quickstart-parent: An error has occurred in Quickstarts Checker Report report generation. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; systemId: http://www.jboss.com/ws-security/schema/jboss-ws-security_1_0.xsd; lineNumber: 41; columnNumber: 5; The element type "meta" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</meta>". -> [Help 1]

It sounds like when the plugin runs into an invalid schema, it stops processing.
