For the former, download the Android SDK from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and unzip it in a directory of your choice, remembering its location.

      • ADT will open SDK manager when no sdk is detected on system, which will guide you through the process of gaining SDK and other stuff.
      • SDK manager can be invoked from JBDS at any time.
      • You don't provide additional steps what to do with the remembered directory location.

For the latter, select Help → Install New Software from the menu, using the URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ and selecting the Developer Tools option. Restart Eclipse.

Users should be more encouraged to use JBoss Central rather than manual installation of ADT. In JBDS6 - JBoss Central - Software/Update tab - Android Development Tools.
