While discussing the new Narayana's graceful shutdown with a member of the WildFly community, it came to my attention that a switch to control whether Narayana should wait or not for heuristic transactions during the suspension of its Recovery Manager is more than welcome. The main reason is that, at the moment, in case there is a heuristic transaction in the object store, Narayana logs a WARN-level message together with a TRACE-level message and then it suspends the recovery manager. Users might want to customise this behaviour with a runtime switch that enables them to delay indefinitely the suspension of Narayana's Recovery Manager indefinitely.
