I opened a topic on Zulip (https://narayana.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/323715-developers/topic/narayana.2Eio.20website.20framework) to get feedback about the new website. This is the list of feedback:
- Add the slogan over the banner (Premier open source transaction manager): done
- Fix the scroll left to right issue: done.
- Add the Red Hat button in the header
- Add the footer, and the footer logo (centered): done
- Fix typos: done
- Add twitter widget only on the bottom of the side panel and in community page: done
- Use a grid in the homepage: done
- Update source code links (in downloads page) automatically and re-enable release script for website (see https://github.com/jbosstm/narayana/pull/2155)
- Insert announcement ? (see https://issues.redhat.com/browse/JBTM-3095)
- Update the 'Forum' link, it must point to Google group (narayana-user) or Zulip chat: done
- Change the mailing lists with forum, chat, blog, 'jbossts-announce' and zulip: done
- Update https://github.com/jbosstm/narayana/wiki repo, it should be the replacement for 'JBoss Community Archive'
- Tab in browser should show Narayana logo, for documentation too.
- Side-panel: Latest news to the bottom : done
- Side-panel: The Lastest Forum discussions links need to refer to (zulip and) the google group.
- Remove download link to the binary and the "Download the latest version of Narayana standalone" link in the right-hand side bar
- Community page: move links to relevant section: done
- GitHub tags used in the download page should be documented in the README
- Source Code page: remove the FishEye link: done
- Could we have a Issue tracker link (i.e. https://issues.redhat.com/projects/JBTM/issues/JBTM-3805?filter=allopenissues) which does not require access?
- Include people that have just joined us on 'Meet the team' section
- Fix broken links: done
- Add the robot.txt file: done
- Use https everywhere
- Clarify when we deliver milestones (release on an "as needed" basis)
- Community page: Add a contributing section with a link to https://github.com/jbosstm/narayana/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md
