Ensure the karaf quickstart works with the main branch

      Working through the karaf quickstart instructions produces the error:

      karaf@root()> narayana-quickstart:testCommit
testCommit
Error executing command: osgi:service/test

      Note that the instructions specify older versions of karaf, narayana and pax-jdbc and I tried unsuccessfully to update them with:

      apache-karaf-4.1.0-SNAPSHOT -> apache-karaf-4.4.0-SNAPSHOT
narayana 5.3.4.Final-SNAPSHOT -> 5.12.5.Final-SNAPSHOT
pax-jdbc-features 0.8.0 -> 1.5.2
