according to the Import-Package declaration:

org.springframework.*;resolution:=optional;version="[2.5,5)",

Spring 5 is not an option.

Is there something that prevents bumping up the version range to include Spring 5?

Btw, PAX's repackaged version of Narayana, already overwrites the version range to [2.5,6).
