There is a requirement that each approver be able to return the task to the previous approver,how can i do this when the workflow is complex

There is a requirement that each approver be able to return the task to the previous approver,In general, I can use branches to complete the request, like below:

However, if  my business workflow become complex like below, use branch to return task will be terrible:
