Import The sample process in the Kie Workbench.
Start the process (Fill the actor variable, witch is the human actor that will start and complete human tasks)
Start and complete Task A that will it trigger the signal event (or just send a signal with ref "A1234Signal" to that process instance).
The Task B is not canceled as expected.

      Hi,
I'm trying to use a boundary events attached to a human Task, and that event will have to cancel the activity (Cancel Activity property set to true).
However the Task is not canceled even after signalling the event.
Attached a sample process, the task to be canceled is Task B.
In the example, I use the Task A to trigger the signal, but you can also send directly the signal to the process instance (Ref= A1234Signal).
