The transitions are not displayed in the taskforms. This is due to the fact that jstl (c:foreach) and jsf (h:commandButton) can not be combined. Another solution has to be found.

I investigated this and found an oracle jsf set of faces (adf) which do the job, so now it works. But I'm not sure if this should be the way to go. 4MB of libs, look and feel is slightly different and the buttons certainly are. I'll look into this a little further, but no solution at hand for now.

Any suggestions?
