      Installation Guide stated that the GUI installer configures JBoss Enterprise Application Platform to run as a service on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. However, this is only the case when the product is installed using the RPM installer. With this update, the text has been corrected to reflect this fact.

      In the JBoss Enterprise Application Platform's Installation Guide it states that the GUI installer configures JBoss EAP to run as a service on RHEL. In fact this is done only by the RPM installer.

      Action required: Remove the incorrect statement.

      The text in question is: "If the Enterprise Application Platform is installed using either the RPM Installation via the Red Hat Network or Installation using the Graphical Installer methods, it is installed as a service."

      To confirm whether or not this is the case, please:
      (1) Download the GUI installer from the Red Hat Network;
      (2) Install JBoss EAP 5.1.2 using the GUI installer (on Fedora);
      (3) Confirm if JBoss EAP is configured as a service.
