When the user attempted to create a JMS queue or topic in the admin-console, the process failed due to missing default values of the expiryQueue, DLQ, and serverPeer properties. Now, the properties are populated with acceptable default values within the UI in the admin-console when a new message queue or topic is being created.

    • Documented as Resolved Issue

When we create a JMS qeueue from Admin console giving the name and the JNDI name, the Default parameters for the DLQ and Expiry Queue and Server peer are not loaded .

This results into an error and the Queue is not created. We have to explicitly provide the values of DLQ , Expiry Queue and Server Peer to create the Queue Successfully.

However the above behavior is not expected as the default values should be auto-populated.

The Jboss Documentation also mentions that we only need to provide the Name and the JNDI Name to create the JMS Queue.
