Major I was trying to add JBoss-4.2.0.GA to NetBeans server list. NB doesn't detect JBAS.
I had to add an empty file/directory "resolver.jar" to $JBOSS_HOME/lib/endorsed, to get it work.
JBoss-4.2.0 incompatible with NetBeans 5.5
