• The HornetQ User Guide contained incorrect information on clients running inside a Java 5 Virtual Machine and referred to jars, which are no longer delivered in the Client Classpath chapter. The chapter now provides accurate information on these issues.

      Hi Jared,

during preparation of tests for HornetQ I've noticed some inconsistencies in HornetQ User Guide for EAP 5.1.1:

      1) Chapter 10 - In "warning" there should be "$JBOSS_HOME/client" instead of "JBOSS_HOME/client"
      2) Chapter 10.1 - this sentence should be deleted - "If the client runs inside a Java 5 virtual machine, use instead hornetq-core-client-java5.jar. " - there is no core-client-java5.jar in EAP (with installed HornetQ) also hornetq-core-client.jar works fine with JDK 1.5 (I've verified it)
      3) Chapter 10.2 - this sentence should be deleted - "If the client runs inside a Java 5 virtual machine, include instead hornetq-jms-client-java5.jar." - this jar is not in EAP (with installed HornetQ distribution) also hornetq-jms-client-java5.jar works fine with JDK 1.5 (I've verified it)
      4) Chapter 10.2 - modify "Note" - there is no jboss-jms-api.jar file EAP distribution - it's replaced by jboss-javaee.jar

Please give me know if anything seems to be unclear or wrong.

      Thank you,

      Mirek

P.S.: Did you notice the jira number?
