There are differences between the main RPM distribution and the BIN distribution, both delivered from RHN. The differences for EAP 4.2 are:

1) commons-httpclient.jar is missing from server/<config>/lib , client dir and lib dir.
I think it's a bug, and this jar should be put there. When booting the server, it complains about this missing jar.

2) Contents (class files) of the jar jboss-xml-binding.jar are not matching the ones from ZIP
Not sure this is an actual problem. Maybe some signature has changed?

3) There are a few ".orig" files (ie: server/all/deploy/jmx-console.war/WEB-INF/web.xml.orig)
I think this is a bug as well. I don't think they were supposed to be there.
