1) make sure you have a local deltacloud server, make sure it's not running 2) create a cloud connection to it in the cloud view. it's type will be displayed as UNKNOWN (since it's not reachable) 3) select it in the "Cloud view" a check that "Launch instance" is disabled 4) launch your server 6) get back to cloud viewer, check if you can now launch an instance Result: "Launch instance" is still disabled even though you can list images, list instances, etc. Result: "Launch instance should be enabled, since loading instances etc. works
