1) make sure you have a cloud 2) select the instance view so that the image view is not visible 3) restart deltacloud tools 4) select your cloud and pick "Launch instance" (dont unfold the tree, dont select the images view - make sure that the images are not loaded yet) 5) pick "Launch instance" in the context menu of your cloud Result: If you already launched an instance before, the UI freezes while the wizard opens up (because the wizard proposes the last image and triggers loading all images). If you never launched an instance before, the UI will freeze as soon as you type an image-id in the appropriate field.
