    Description

The quarkus tools for Eclipse mandate the use of the JBoss Usage reporter plugin (org.jboss.tools.usage.feature_2.2.300.v20200323-1608) however, the installation wizard doesn't provide any information on what information this plugin collects and sends to JBoss, prior to giving me the option to opt-in or out.

The GDPR mandates that the collection of data be informed and consented, which both are neglected in the installation of the quarkus tools for Eclipse.

      In short:

      • make data collection plugin from the Quarkus Tools for Eclipse optional
      • give actual and correct information on the data being collected and sent to JBoss prior to asking for accepting of the licenses, and
      • provide in the installation info prior to installing a link to https://tools.jboss.org/usage/ so I can actually read about what the plugin does after installation.

Currently this is not clear at installation time. It seems the plugin does quite well with GDPR compliance, but the installation doesn't make that clear.
