      visit the http://quarkus.io, read the web and study the Quarkus basics (what is Quarkus, requirements etc.)

      visit the https://code.quarkus.io, select several extensions, download the project (repeat for various extension selection, compare the pom.xml, use the terminal to add/remove extension)

      study the github Quarkus repository (https://github.com/quarkusio/quarkus)

      study the github Quarkus quickstarts (https://github.com/quarkusio/quarkus-quickstarts), clone the repo and run the quickstarts on localhost (run them, view in browser, test live reload, study the quickstarts file/folder hierarchy etc.)
