1) use Java 11 and updated devStudio
2) import mentioned projects
3) you will see errors due to dependency, that cannot be resolved

Workaround Description:

Fix project by editing them after import (extend pom.xml, add the dependency).
Or
Add JDK1.8 in workspace(Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Installed JREs)
