ASSERT: Have an eclipse project with associated git repo in workspace. Must be different repo than the one in a template used for new application (e.g. use project from https://github.com/mlabuda/jboss-eap-application.git)
ASSERT: make sure that the workspace project (that you imported) is NOT selected.
EXEC: Open New OpenShift 3 application wizard (via File > New > Other.> OpenShift)
      EXEC: Select a server template (e.g. eap64-basic-s2i).
EXEC: Type project name or select project in the text widget for Eclipse project on the same wizard page. (the order of the steps above matters. You have to 1st select the template and then select the workspace project)
      EXEC: Click next.

RESULT: Values for template git ref and source URL are shown. After attempt to edit the value, the correct one is shown.
EXPECTED RESULT: Values for eclipse project with git remote are shown.

When creating a new OpenShift 3 application based on an eclipse project from workspace using a template, template parameters shows wrong values. E.g. I am having a project with git repo URL URL_A and template is based on source code from git repo URL URL_B. In the wizard, if I select at first template and then eclipse project, the template parameters values on the next wizard page shows values of the template instead of eclipse project. But correct values are shown.
