Explorer: When refreshing a connection children are immediately replaced, no "Loading" is appearing

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    • Hide
      1. ASSERT: make sure that you have a connection in explorer
      2. EXEC: unfold the connection so that you see it's children
      3. EXEC: pick "Refresh" from the context menu of your connection

      Result:
      There's no "Loading" appearing
The refreshing happens though (you see the job being triggered in the Eclipse status bar). You can verify that the refreshing happens by editing the connection: once you provided new settings the children are replaced but there's no "Loading" that would tell you that the connection is being re-loaded/refreshed.

      Expected Result:
Connection children are replaced by a "Loading"

Once the connection is loaded "Loading" disappears and is replaced by the connection children
