      According to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=357951, bug was reported and fixed 09/16. Latest eGit release is, however, 1.1.0.v20110915.

      Should we look at moving up to a newer eGit, such as 1.2.0.201112010521, from http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates-nightly/ ?
