BPEL - cannot change the fixed value generated by variable initializer.

      1) create a new sync process
      2) add an assign activity
      3) in the assign properties window choose "output/payload" (on the right side)
      4) when the variable initializer pops up choose "yes"
      5) change the fixed value generated by the initializer (on the left side)
      6) save the changes and check the source for the changes

      The fixed value generated by BPEL variable initializer cannot be changed using the UI. I attempt to change the assigned value but saving the changes does not have any effect. To make the save work it's required to close/open the .bpel process document.
