We want to use/start JBoss EAP 7.0.3 as a windows service. We can get the service to install; however, it is never installed correctly. The same issue existed in the previous versions of JBoss EAP; 6.3.3, 6.3.2, 6.3.1, and 6.3.0: the Windows Service Management could never stop the JBoss Service once it was started, the JBoss Process would also needed to be manually killed via the Task Viewer. The CLI and the Management Console could however, succesfully restart and shutdown the server without issues. We want the same to happen via the Windows Services Console. Therefore, we need the configuration steps and exact documentation available to us to make that happen.
The service.bat provides dozens of options when using the install feature; however, there is not documentation that tells anyone what it does. Please help.
