In section 7.1.2. Modifying an Existing Configuration

With EAP 7.1 the step 3. - procedure of inserting a new UDP stack will not work. The reason is that the first command /subsystem=jgroups/stack=udp:remove will fail since the udp stack is required by the ee channel. Note that this works with 7.0 GA, since the capabilities and requirements for JGroups subsystem were not implemented back then.

The safe and easiest way to fix this is to simply run the commands in batch - add batch as the first command and run-batch as the last command.

FYI:
Other ways to configure the stack for Azure, would be to modify the stack with the new feature of inserting protocols at a specified index (UDP stack would never need to be removed) or switching the stack required by the ee channel to tcp and then removing and reinserting the udp stack, then switching the required channel back to udp.
