I would like ask for enhancement of text of Transaction Enhancements in Release Notes book. Currently we have documented new feature based on EAP7-264 with text

An XAResource that is part of an XA transaction and implements XAResourceWrapper will remain synchronized if the XA resource is committed before a transaction manager crashes. This removes the need for manual intervention after the transaction manager restarts.

I would like ask for addition information about limitation of this feature. We know that the feature is not working for third party messagings. That for EAP7.0.0.GA means that it does not work for integration with IBM WebSphere MQ. That's because they have to integrate their RM directly with JBoss and implements interface XAResourceWrapper. That probably never happen.
As such it would be good to point here out that this new feature has limitation

      • does not work for third party resource managers which does not implement XAResourceWrapper
      • specifically this does not work for RM of IBM WebSphere MQ
