Chapter 16.13. Configuring the IO Subsystem in the Configuration Guide resides inside chapter 16. Configuring the Web Server (Undertow).
I believe that this is wrong, because the IO subsystem can be used by other subsystems, too. And in fact, the Remoting subsystem also references a worker from the IO subsystem. As far as I'm aware, the buffer pools configured in the IO subsystem are currently only used from the Undertow subsystem, but that could possibly change.
What should be done IMHO:
- move the chapter 16.13. Configuring the IO Subsystem one level up
- remove the language that says "used by the Undertow subsystem" or change it so that it doesn't imply that Undertow is the only consumer – it's currently true for the buffer pools part of the subsystem, but that can change without notice (however unlikely that is)
