    Description

Using the offline CLI to start an embedded Host Controller with the host-slave.xml config (or any host.xml that does not have the host name statically configured in the file) results in the name of the host resource being a randomly generated Base 64 encoded string. There is no way to programatically set the name with a CLI script. The only way to set the name either requires a human to use the offline CLI in an interactive session, or some sort of scripting to tweak the config file.

I'm marking this critical because this is a serious impediment to a major use case of the offline CLI. It breaks the ability to use scripts to manipulate the entire /host=* section of the management model, since there is no clean way to determine and use the value part of the host address element.
