We have identified possible 2 aspects of migrating applications from 8.0/8.1 to 8.2.

• eap maven plugin from 1.x/2.x to 3.x
• manifest upgrade from eap-8.0/eap-8.1 to eap-8.2

This jira is about to track on EAP side rule implementation work needed. We (EAP) would need to create MTA product issue to implement such rule(s). In time of writing this issue it is unknown what that MTA project is.
