The EAP 8.0 has this fix https://issues.redhat.com/browse/JBEAP-28033 but 8.1.x doesn't have this fix.

The EAP 8.1.0 uses wildfly-elytron 2.6.0.Final, which is being tracked by the 2.6.x branch.

The commit which resolved this bug is in the history of the 2.6.x branch [1] but it got removed by mistake during the merge command[2]. This second link does not show any diff because of github view, but I can see it being reverted in this commit in my local IDE.

This has to be resolved by creating a new release of 2.6.x and getting it into minor of EAP 8.1.x again. 

This fix is also missing in upstream 2.x branch.
