This feature is already superseded by channels.

The legacy patching (EAP ZIP patch) was removed in XP5 with deprecation note https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_jboss_enterprise_application_platform/8.0/html-single/red_hat_jboss_eap_xp_5.0_release_notes/index#deprecated-features_default

Feature will remain in the upstream code as deprecated but will be removed from the productized version.
