DeploymentDescriptorInterceptorBindingsProcessor is responsible for binding interceptors to EJB components, but it turns out that if is unable to handle the configuration in which the annotated method is defined in component's superclass. This can be easily fixed as org.jboss.as.server.deployment.reflect.ClassReflectionIndexUtil API already has an utility that is able to look for methods in a correct way.
