This task deals with preparing all resources to build EAP 8.1 Beta images for OpenShift.

This includes:

• creation of the build repositories
  • brew targets:
    •   jb-eap-8.1-rhel-9-containers-candidate
  • build repo creation will also create the brew component which must be specified in the image's image.yaml
    • brew component names:
      • jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk17-builder-openshift-container
      • jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk17-runtime-openshift-container
      • jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk21-builder-openshift-container
      • jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk21-runtime-openshift-container
• dist-git repositories and branches
  • containers/jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk17-builder-openshift - jb-eap-8.1-rhel-9
  • containers/jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk17-runtime-openshift - jb-eap-8.1-rhel-9
  • containers/jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk21-builder-openshift - jb-eap-8.1-rhel-9
  • containers/jboss-eap81-beta-openjdk21-runtime-openshift - jb-eap-8.1-rhel-9
• creation of comet repositories
  • the delivery repos request can be made in comet:
    • They were created to be built with Konflux and since we are reverting to Brew, they might require configuration updates (tracked by SPMM-19191)
