XP5 no longer supports Snappy compression on non-Linux platforms. Since XP4.0.2, Snappy compression was usable by the Kafka client via an implementation that has been removed from Snappy since 1.1.9.0 (https://github.com/xerial/snappy-java/releases) due to data corruption concerns.

(Snappy compression was introduced as part of ~~JBEAP-24592~~)

Despite adding this hook, WildFly will work the same as always.
