The micro version of the components produced from the jboss-eap8 repo do not have any relationship to the version of an EAP installation, as the EAP 8 provisioning/patching mechanism produces updated versions with no required update to any components.

It's not feasible to include any update version info in version.txt (e.g. channel manifest versions that we intend to calculate at runtime and log at server boot) so we will strip the micro version numbers from version.txt and just include the major/micro number.

My plan is to include GA or Beta, but separate from the minor version number by a space, not a period. That choice is open to discussion.
