This is the converse of JBEAP-21338. JBEAP-21338 notes that some XP3 deps are getting their version from base EAP dependency-management, whereas they should be declared in the root pom for XP. That implies that the base EAP pom has some cruft in its dependency-management, i.e. artifacts that are not relevant to base EAP.
